Loan Modification Update

My mother just came back from the lawyer. The bank is refusing to strike a deal. I don't think any one will be able to convince them that what they are doing is wrong and it's just not worth it to go into bankruptcy. So me and my mother will be looking for a new place to live. My sister suggests lease to own so will be looking into it.

Loan Modification

My mother is going to see a lawyer today after being refused loan modification for the second time, this time for not sending in papers on time. My mother had no idea that she was supposed to send anything in sense she never received anything to fill out. The ironic part of it all is that this time she was on the trial modification. The IndyMac, now FradyMac kept excepting my mother's payments even after the bank has refused to give her modification which she found out after the bank had notified her that her condominium is going to go on the auction.

The first refusal was because she wasn't occupying the property. She had written the bank in advance letting them know she had to move and the date when she was planning to move back, but bank just decided to pretend they had no idea.

Well we will see what they do after my mothers appointment with the lawyer.
