Fake iTunes Bill Delivers Bank-Draining Trojan
I am so glad that I don't use iTunes.
Hackers have developed a new and clever scam that targets legitimate Apple
iTunes subscribers, then drains their bank account.
Researchers say that the fake and outrageously high bill is enough to raise the ire of legitimate iTunes subscribers. The reason for this is that most people are likely to take action when seeing an
"incorrect amount" appear on their bill.
The attack vector uses Adobe Flash, which is a technology that Apple refuses to use for its alleged security weaknesses. Panda Labs released a statement explaining the infection process:

Microsoft Security: Infected PCs Should be Banned
Viruses get their name because, like human diseases, they can spread and multiply quickly. Now, Microsoft believes some of the tactics used to protect public health should be applied to the world of technology.
He likens one solution to the way schools and workplaces either encourage sick people to stay at home, or even ban them from coming in for fear that they might infect others. In turn, he argues that there's a need to "evaluate the health of consumer devices before granting them unfettered access to the Internet or other critical resources."
While the idea makes sense, Charney acknowledges that there are some major

Despite Internet Explorer 9 Beta, IE Loses Ground
Not very surprising considering that add-ons slow down IE.
Despite the fact that the Internet Explorer 9 (IE9) beta accounts for 0.25 per cent of the current global usage share during the second half of September, the overall share for Internet Explorer managed to slide by three-quarters of a percentage point.
As of October 1st, Microsoft's IE browsers accounted for 59.7 per cent of all browsers in current use around the world. This now stands as the lowest figure ever recorded for Internet Explorer
and, worse yet, Microsoft has somehow managed to erase any gains that the browser managed to make
this past summer.
Seemingly, the only bit of good news Microsoft can take from the month of September is that IE8 continued to experience small gains, with

the total number of IE8 browsers currently in use rising to 29.1 per cent.

The first refusal was because she wasn't occupying the property. She had written the bank in advance letting them know she had to move and the date when she was planning to move back, but bank just decided to pretend they had no idea.
Well we will see what they do after my mothers appointment with the lawyer.
