Computer froze

My computer has froze while in stand-by mode. I had forced shut it down waited a minute and turned it back on. When computer was fully booted I had opened Event Viewer and was about to look for the errors that took place my mother called me to say that Pinky And the Brain was on. At first I wanted to say no, but since Pinky and the Brain is my favorite cartoon that I have not seen in a very long time I have decided that my computer can wait. I am glad that I did that, because I had a blast watching it with my mother and two little nieces. Update: I have updated graphic card. I think that what was causing the computer to freeze.
